What is Troupe?
Troupe is a dynamic and welcoming program for dancers who want to grow their skills, gain confidence, and experience the excitement of performing. It’s open to all students who enjoy dance and want to be part of a fun, supportive community. Troupe members work on choreography throughout the year, performing at special events and forming close bonds with their peers. It’s a great opportunity for dancers to improve coordination, memory, and teamwork while enjoying a positive and engaging environment.
What does Troupe Involve?
Troupe students will attend a dedicated troupe class each week. In addition, students aged 7 and over will participate in 3 technique classes: Ballet, Jazz, and one other style of their choice. For students aged 10 and over, 2 Ballet classes are required each week.
For our 6U troupe members, they only need to attend Ballet, Jazz, and their weekly troupe class.
Throughout the year, students will learn routines in different styles. Starting in Term 2, they’ll have the chance to perform at competitions and local events as part of their troupe team.

We see incredible friendships form across different age groups, with students supporting and cheering each other on. Troupe is all about community, growth, and having fun while improving dance skills. 9.15 – 10:00am 5 – 6 Years
10.15 – 11.00am 7 – 8 Years
11:15 – 12:00pm 9 – 10 Years
12:15 – 1:00pm 11-12 Years

What is the Audition process?
Our Troupe auditions are designed to be a fun and relaxed Jazz-based class for all students.
On audition day, students will arrive, warm up, and learn a short piece of choreography. They will then be split into small groups to perform for a few of our teachers.
The purpose of the audition is to see each student’s current skill level, how they pick up choreography, and how they perform in front of an audience. It’s a great way for us to place students in the right troupe for their growth and enjoyment!
