Our First steps classes are for students enrolling in their first dance lesson! Your tiny dancer will be twirling and leaping all around the room as we focus on music and movement in a fun and creative environment.
Mini Movers is a fun filled class for students aged 18months – 3 years. Parents are invited into the classroom for this lesson to encourage and support their little one along the way. We have a whole lot of dancing fun during this lesson as we move around the room learning colours, listening skills, balance and confidence.
Classes cost $14 per lesson
Tiny Tots is our program for tiny dancers, children aged 2.5-4 years old. This class focuses on music and movement and teaches students the basics of dance technique in a creative and fun environment. In this class students are encouraged to use their imaginations as we work through story lines and meet new characters along the way
All of our Tiny Tots students work towards performing in our end of year show where they get up on stage and absolutely wow the audience with their performances!

PRESCHOOL BALLET
For our Tiniest Ballerinas! Learn to Twirl and Jump, Plie and Balance. Preschool Ballet is one of our most popular classes and rightly so! We have so much fun in this lesson, pretending to dance like Emma Wiggle, learning new steps each week, working on our memory and improving coordination.

PRESCHOOL JAZZ
If your child has all the sass and energy to burn then this class is for you. Set to upbeat music, students move and groove all around the classroom learning how to skip, gallop, leap and jump. Each week we introduce new fun choreography and finish with some free dancing so students have the chance to show us their best moves!

PRESCHOOL TAP/HIP HOP
For our little groovers and music makers. This combo class introduces students to the basics of Tap and Hip Hop. Students make noise in their tap shoes learning rhythm, timing and musicality and break it down doing Hip Hop to build coordination and expression.

PRESCHOOL ACRO
We know you’ve probably got a little acrobat on your hands, doing cartwheels around the loungeroom and handstands on the walls. This class is the perfect fit for students that just want to tumble and flip! Students leans all the basics of Acro (forward rolls, cartwheels, handstands, balancing and flexibility) whilst building strength and coordination to ensure they can safely perform their acro tricks!

Most of our Preschool students do 2-3 classes each week so this year we have introduced a Preschool Class Package! $310 for 3 classes each week. Saving you $68 per term!
Perfect as your child’s first introduction to dance or for students who have already got several years of training under their belt! Our recreational classes are strict on technique and big on FUN!
Our Ballet classes follow the Australian Conservatoire of Ballet syllabus (ACB). Students get to experience the beauty of classical Ballet, whilst developing their knowledge of the specific vocabulary and technique. The ACB syllabus is based on the Russian Method of training (Vaganova) which emphasizes correct placement, dynamics and performing quality. Students have the option to participate in Ballet Exams and attend intensive study periods to ensure they are developing at the highest possible standard.
Jazz is an energetic and fun style, perfect for any student that has lots of energy to burn! In our jazz classes students will learn the foundations of dance technique whilst developing flexibility and strength. In jazz we also learn fun, high energy choreography to a range of music styles. Our Jazz classes follow the IDT syllabus to ensure excellence in the development of every Jazz Dancer!
A blend of ballet and modern dance. This style evolves from the center of the body, combined with precise leg work and fluidity of the torso. It encourages self expression, natural movement and story telling. Students in our Lyrical/Contemporary classes will learn a range of techniques including turns, leaps and jumps as well as floor movement and improvisation.
Our Acrobatics classes focus on building the correct strength, flexibility and endurance in order to safely perform acrobatics skills. Students learn complex skills including handstands, cartwheels and forward rolls and as they build their strength and coordination progress to more advanced skills including no handed cartwheels, front flips and backflips and back handsprings. We follow the Acrobatic Arts Syllabus at EPA Dance and offer students the opportunity to join or Advanced Tumbling Program once they reach a required level.
A combination of old and modern tap styles, seen in many famous musical theatre numbers. This style requires focus,
discipline and commitment in order to build on and develop the precise technique required. Students excelling in this style may extend their training in our Tap exam classes where we follow the Glenn Wood Syllabus. We recommend starting this style early to easily progress to the advanced tap levels.
A combo classes for our triple threats. Learn to Sing, Dance and Act in Musical Theatre and Broadway Jazz. Each lessons focuses on various elements of the Musical Theatre style. Students learn choreography from their favorite musicals and learn how to tell a story on stage. For our older dancers, classes are performed in chorus heels to provide an added challenge!
Arguably the most exciting class we offer, Aerial Hoop classes allow students to perform a whole range of skills whilst hanging from the ceiling. We follow the Aerial Arts syllabus from Acrobatic Arts and during each class students focus on spinning, balancing and posture skills whilst building strength and flexibility to ensure they can progress to the most advanced Aerial levels.
Hip Hop is an energetic street dance style. It involves several different techniques including muscle isolations,
dance combinations and improvisation. Hip Hop can be interpreted in different ways by each student and
students are always encouraged to develop their own unique style.
Our Specialty Programs are invitation only and are only offered to students who have shown a high skill level and commitment to their weekly dance classes.
Students in our specialty programs have the opportunity to quickly advance in multiple dance styles and have further performance opportunities throughout each year.
Our Advanced Tumbling Program offers further development to students who have shown a high level of skill in their weekly acro classes. Each week students focus on advancing their existing acrobatic skills as well as learning advanced lifts and partnering.
Students must have a strong base level of acro to be offered a place in the tumbling program so we recommend enrolling in a minimum of 1-2 acro classes each week to give your child the best chance of receiving an offer to the tumbling program.
Students progress quickly in this program by setting goals and receiving guidance for at home practice to ensure their skills are continually developing.
Classes cost $18-22 per lesson
This program allows students who are excelling in their classes to be part of a team and represent the dance studio at local and regional eisteddfods (dance competitions) as well as community performances. Of course there are extra commitments to be part of such a team.
Members of the Performance Troupe have an amazing opportunity to gain extensive performance experience, which is vital to any young dancer in training. The teamwork skills, discipline and self- confidence that students develop from being in a Troupe will help them grow not just as dancers, but also as people.
Classes cost $22 per lesson (this includes all costume hire and eisteddfod entrance fees)
Private lessons are for students who are looking for further performance opportunities. During these classes students will work 1 on 1 with their teacher to develop multiple high quality routines that are ready to perform at local events and competitions.
Students must be enrolled in Performance Troupe to be able to partake in Private lessons. If you are interested in one of these classes for your child be sure to get in touch so we can monitor you child’s progress and invite them into troupe once they are ready.
