CONCERT COSTS
The costs associated with the concert are outlined below.
Concert Pack $75
(all students in the show will require a Concert pack)
We are so excited to be bringing back the concert pack this year, to give our students the ultimate memories of the show whilst also making all the costs straightforward and clear for our parents.
What’s Included

- Every photo from the Live Performances
- Cost for all extra rehearsals/additional classes to prepare for the concert
**Families with multiple children will pay $75 for the first child and $40 for each additional child
Concert Costumes $85 each
- Each class will require a costume
- If a child is in multiple classes they will require multiple costumes
Tickets to the Show
- Tickets range in price from $25-$40
- There is a limit of 20 tickets per family for each of our shows!
- Students do not require a ticket as they will be supervised backstage throughout the concert.
Additional Items
Shoes/Tights
Students will also require the correct shoes and tights for the concert. Most students will have these items already as this is what they wear to class each week!
CONCERT DAY PROCEDURES
DROP OFF & PICK UP
On concert day, all of the students will be staying backstage with us for the duration of the concert. Students need to have their hair and makeup done and stockings on before being dropped off. Students are required to arrive 45mins before their show time.
During the dropping off times, we ask that one parent/guardian comes with their child into the drop off area, students will be directed to their dressing rooms once inside the theatre.
All students will need to be picked up from the drop off point after the show. Students will stay in this location and will need to be signed out by a parent/guardian before leaving.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask us. We will ensure that we talk you through the concert day procedure again in the weeks leading up to the concert.
SECURITY & STUDENT SAFETY
To help with student organisation and safety, all students will be put into an allocated ‘group’ with staff and parent helper group leaders.
As always, the safety of our dance family is our #1 priority. On concert day all students will need to be signed in / out of security lists to gain access backstage. All backstage helpers will be issued with security passes that are required to be worn at all times. Only EPA DANCE staff and registered parent helpers are permitted backstage. We are unable to run messages or food to students, so please make sure they have everything before they come backstage for rehearsal and the recital/concert. There will be a someone at the door for the entire day checking passes. We do this to protect the students, please respect this policy. Please try not to bring anything valuable, especially electronic devices. Mobile phones are not to be taken backstage or in the changing areas during the concert. Our studio will take no responsibility if an item is damaged, misplaced, lost or stolen.
MEDICAL CONDITIONS
If your child has any Medical Conditions that may require attention whilst in our care or are carrying any medication with them, please notify our supervisors when you sign in.
WHAT TO WEAR/BRING
PRESCHOOL STUDENTS
Students will need to arrive wearing their concert costume, with the correct tights and their hair and makeup done. Students do not need to bring any belongings into the theatre, this includes water bottles, bags, toys etc. Class teachers will provide preschool students with a zip lock bag with their name on it and preschool students will need to bring this to the theatre with their dance shoes inside!
What tights/shoes does my child need:
- TINY TOTS – Ballet Stockings and Ballet Shoes
- PRESCHOOL BALLET – Ballet Stockings and Ballet Shoes
- PRESCHOOL JAZZ – No Stockings and Tan Jazz Shoes
- PRESCHOOL ACRO – No Stockings, No Shoes
- PRESCHOOL TAP/HIP HOP – No Stockings, Black Tap Shoes
Hair and Makeup
- Double Braids **If hair is too short, pig tails will suffice 🙂
- Red Lipstick (optional)
ALL OTHER STUDENTS (6U and up)
Students will need to arrive wearing their Concert T-shirt, Tights and their own choice of bottoms (shorts, leggings trackpants etc.) Students must arrive with their Hair and Makeup done. Students will need to bring a bag with lunch, plenty of snacks, a water bottle and a quiet activity (books, colouring in etc.)
What tights/shoes does my child need:
- JAZZ – Tan Shimmer Tights, Tan Jazz Shoes
- BALLET – Ballet Stockings, Canvas Ballet Shoes
- LYRICAL/CONTEMPORARY – Tan Footless Tights, Foot Thong (optional)
- ACRO – Tan Footless Tights, Foot Thong (optional)
- AERIALS – Tan Footless Tights, Bare Feet
- HIP HOP – No Tights, Black Lace Up Runners
- TAP – Tan Shimmer Tights, Black Lace Up Tap Shoes
- MUSICAL THEATRE – Tan Shimmer Tights, Shoes TBD (footwear will be based on routines)
Hair and Makeup:
- Hair – Low bun with middle part
- Makeup – Red Lipstick, Foundation, Blush, Eyeshadow, Black Liquid Eyeliner, Black Mascara
CONCERT MEMORABILIA
On concert day we will have both a videographer and photographer to take photos and videos of every show! These will be provided to families after the concert via an online download. There is no additional cost for these images and videos as they will all be included in your concert packs! 🙂
Students will also receive a Concert T-shirt with the poster of the show they performed in printed on the back. These T-shirts are yours to keep and can be worn during classes as a uniform item!
